Expression Terms of Use

1. Who we are and these terms
Expression is made by Glaring Services Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15337798), registered office 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. “We”, “us” and “Expression” mean that company. “You” means the person using the app or website.
These Terms apply to:
- the Expression app on Android (Google Play) and iPhone (App Store); and
- our website, www.expressiontarot.com.
By creating an account, buying, or using Expression, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Expression.
Other documents that form part of the deal:
- our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we handle your data;
- our Subscription and refund terms, which set out trials, renewals, cancelling, refunds and your 14-day right to cancel. If they differ from these Terms on a purchase, they win.
If you pay through Google Play or the App Store, that store’s terms also apply to the payment. We use other companies to run parts of Expression, such as Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Cloudflare and the app stores. The Privacy Policy lists them. Links to other sites, including our shop and social pages, are for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Some features differ between app versions. Where they do, these Terms say older versions (3.0.9 and earlier) or newer versions (released from October 2026).
2. What Expression is, and is not
Expression is a tarot, astrology, numerology and journaling app and website: card draws and spreads, a birth chart, a daily horoscope, moon phases, compatibility, a private journal and, where available, Soulmate (a portrait and reading from your answers and chart). In newer versions much of the app works offline; changes made offline are saved when you reconnect.

For reflection, not prediction. Expression is for entertainment, self-reflection and self-exploration. Tarot, astrology and numerology are traditions of interpretation, not science. We do not claim that any card, chart or number can predict events or tell you what other people think or will do. Keep what feels useful and leave the rest.
Not professional advice. Nothing in Expression is medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, fertility or other professional advice. Do not use it to make, delay or stop a decision about your health, medication, pregnancy, money, legal matters or safety.

No guarantee of accuracy or outcome. We work hard to get calculations right and content carefully sourced, but we do not guarantee that any reading is accurate or suited to you, or any outcome (a relationship, job, pregnancy, exam or financial gain). Astronomical data shows where things are in the sky; it does not prove astrological meanings.
Reporting a reading. If a reading is wrong, upsetting or unsafe, email support@expressiontarot.com with the date and the reading. We will review it and correct our content where needed.
3. Your account
Age. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use Expression. By using Expression, you confirm that you are 18 or older. If we learn that someone under 18 is using Expression, we may ask them to confirm their age, or close the account and delete the personal data linked to it.
Signing in. To save readings, use your journal or buy Premium, you need an account. You can sign in with email, Google, Apple or Facebook, depending on where you are using Expression. The website needs no account.
Keeping it safe. Keep your sign-in details safe and do not share your account. Tell us at once if you think someone else used it. Give us true details; for example, your birth date is used to work out your readings.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Free and Premium. Some features are free; others need Premium. The app and website show which before you use a feature. What is free can differ between app versions. Features marked “Coming soon” are not part of any plan until we launch them. If we move a feature you used for free into Premium, we will tell you in the app first.
Where you can buy.

Plans and prices. Premium is sold in the app as a monthly and a yearly subscription (the yearly plan includes Year ahead); a lifetime plan may also be offered. Prices on the website are a guide in US dollars, pounds or euros; the store shows your price, with tax, before you pay. Price, billing period and what is included are always shown before you pay.
Free trial. If a plan has a free trial, the purchase screen shows its length and what you pay after. Unless you cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. The store decides who is eligible for a trial.
Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period, at the price shown, until you cancel. Cancel any time before renewal to avoid the next charge. After you cancel, you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
Price changes. We may change prices for new purchases at any time. For an existing subscription we will tell you in advance, and the store will ask for your agreement or give notice as the rules require, before the new price applies at renewal. You can cancel before then.
Offers. Promo codes, offers and invite rewards have the conditions shown with them, including who can use them and when they end. We will not show a countdown or limit that is not real.
Cancelling, refunds and your 14-day right to cancel. These are set out in full in our Subscription and refund terms. In short: cancel in the store you bought from; refunds and the UK and EU 14-day right to cancel go through Google or Apple.
Keeping access. If Premium does not appear on a new device, use Restore on the Premium screen (also in My plan in newer versions).
5. AI-generated content
- Readings. Most readings are not written by AI. In older app versions, the Birth chart text is written by Google’s Gemini AI from the details you enter. AI can be wrong; treat it like any other reading (section 2). Newer versions calculate the birth chart without AI. If we add AI-written readings again, we will label them and update these Terms first.
- Images. Some images in the app and on the website are made with AI tools, such as some photos of people on our Premium screens and pages. They show people who do not exist.
- Soulmate portraits are AI-generated illustrations based on your answers and birth chart. They are for entertainment. They are not photographs, and they do not show, predict or identify any real person. Any likeness to a real person is coincidence.
- Calculations use published astronomical methods. Random draws are random.
6. Using Expression fairly
Please do not:
- use Expression unlawfully or to harm anyone;
- enter other people’s personal information without their agreement;
- get around limits, payments, age checks or security, including by abusing free trials or promo codes;
- copy, scrape, resell or republish our content or artwork, or use it to train AI models; or
- reverse-engineer the app, or probe, overload or interfere with the website, except where the law allows.
7. Our content and yours
Ours. The app, website, artwork, card designs, portraits, text, logos and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use of Expression. Sharing a reading, card or portrait image through the share feature, for personal use, is fine.
Yours. Your journal notes, word choices and feedback belong to you. You let us store and process them only to run Expression for you. We do not sell them, use them for advertising, show them to others or use them to train AI. To get a copy of your journal, or delete entries without deleting your account, email support@expressiontarot.com and we will do it within one month.
8. Closing your account and deleting data
You can leave at any time. To delete your account:
- in the app, open You → Settings → Delete account; or
- if you cannot use the app, email support@expressiontarot.com from the address on your account with the words “Delete my account”. See also our delete account page.
Deleting your account removes your personal data as set out in the Privacy Policy. We keep a few records we must keep, such as purchase records for tax.
It does not cancel a subscription. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play or the App Store. See Subscription and refund terms.
If we close an account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms in a serious way, where the law requires it, or to protect others or the service. Where fair and lawful, we will tell you first and explain why. If we close an account without good reason while you have paid time left, we will refund the unused part.
If the service changes. Features and content change as we improve Expression. If a change removes something important you paid for, we will tell you in advance and, where appropriate, offer a refund for unused time.
9. Liability
- If we break these Terms, we are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage you suffer as a result.
- We are not responsible for unforeseeable loss, business losses, or decisions you make based on a reading (section 2).
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit, including your consumer rights.
- If you use Expression for business, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We provide Expression with reasonable skill and care. We cannot promise the app or website will always be available or free of errors.
10. Changes to these terms
The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app or on the website before it applies. Earlier versions are available on request. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using Expression and close your account.

11. Law and disputes
If something goes wrong, contact us first at support@expressiontarot.com. We aim to reply within 5 working days and to resolve complaints within 30 days. If you are not happy, you can use your store’s complaint route, or go to court.
Law. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in those courts or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts. If you live elsewhere, including the EU and India, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of your country and can bring a claim there.
